Sun Pirate Offer New Solar Training Program

So you want to do a solar training course but do not know how to begin?

Where to enroll on a good solar training program is a difficult thing. But one of the more respected US solar specialists have a training course coming up.





Starting on September 7th, 2009 Sun Pirate will be launching their next round of online courses. The Fundamentals of Solar Hot Water Heating Course will start September 7th, 2009 at a cost of $495. The Photovoltaic Design & Installation Course will start September 7th, 2009 with a course price of $595.

These excellent solar training programs concentrate on the basics of installing code compliant solar energy systems. These solar training courses will be useful for people who currently work in or plan to be employed in the green energy industry. Student technicians will learn the practical design criteria, installation guidelines, safety issues, maintenance, and legal considerations of solar hot water heating systems and/ or photovoltaic power systems.

• Understand Solar Design Principles and Installation Practices • Prepare for Solar Installer Certification or Solar Contractor Testing

The Sun Pirate solar training program is designed to follow the Task Analyses developed by committees of subject matter experts and adopted by North American Board of Energy Practitioners and in accordance with Interstate Renewable Energy Council/ IPSQ Standard 01021.

Sun Pirate is recognized by Interstate Renewable Energy Council as an ISPQ Accredited Continuing Education Provider for Fundamentals of Solar Hot Water Heating, and Photovoltaic System Design & Installation Online Course.

Both courses are also NABCEP approved for continuing training. The PV course counts for 60 of education solar training needed for sitting for the PV Exam and the Hot Water course counts for 40 hours towards the required education solar training for sitting for the thermal exam.
