Usually, solar power installations generate power everyday for at least 25 years and may be up to 30 or even 40 years. So once your initial costs are covered, its all free energy. But what frightens most people off is the initial cost. But solar power cost trends show that its becoming more affordable by the day! To get solar pv financing you could use your existing mortgage loan or if you have a business you could take out a business loan. Banks used to be reluctant to lend money for a solar installation. This was because they didn't understand that solar installations will generate long term cash savings. This attitude is rapidly changing as people start seeing what a great money saver solar energy is. Lets face it, there is now huge social and political pressure on institutions to do something about climate change. It is never out of the news.
