Why Solar Distilled Water Is Good For You And The Environment

solar distilled water, distilled water, solar energy, solar power

Why pay a fortune for bottled water when you can have your own solar distilled water?

I live in London and I am surprised at how many people buy bottled water even though the water in the UK, unlike a lot of countries, is fine to drink.

People usually say its because of the taste and I must admit, it doesn't taste too good here in London.

However, even in England where the water is safe, people are still worried about the purity of tap water.

They often end up spending a small fortune on bottled water just to be safe. But bottles aren't the only answer.

Why not produce your own pure drinking water? Solar distilled water is a safe, inexpensive and environmentally friendly option.

Solar distilled water is purified water, free from dangerous bacteria, heavy metals, chemicals and pesticides.

Lead, mercury and arsenic are just a few of the pollutants that find their way into our drinking water. I could go on but I don't want you getting paranoid about it! The basic principles of solar water distillation are pretty simple. The process is similar to the way nature makes rain.

The sun heats water until it As the water evaporates, water vapor rises, condensing on the glass surface for collection.

This process removes impurities such as salts and heavy metals as well as bacteria result is water cleaner than the purest rainwater.

Of course, there are other options, other than solar, that are very good as well such as http://www.ionizers.org. Useful articles
