Loans Solar PV

There are a number of loans and grants for residential solar power available from several organisations that encourage the installation of solar energy heating.
DTI in conjunction with the
Energy Savings Trust
provides grants and loans towards the installation costs of solar photovoltaic (PV) equipment to generate electricity.
The DTI’s
low carbon buildings
programme will run over three years and replaces the previous DTI Clear Skies and Solar PV grant programmes.
This scheme is open to households, public, not for profit and commercial organisations across the UK (except the Channel Islands and the Isle of Man), the programme will demonstrate how energy efficiency and microgeneration can work together to create low carbon buildings.

Automated Wood Pellet Stoves
Ground Source Heat Pumps
Wind and Micro-Hydro power
To be eligible for grants for residential solar power you will need to use a certified installer and products.
