However, there are things we can do to slow done this change. Here are a few obvious things you can do.
1. Drive less. Ride a bike or walk whever possible.
2. Replace all the lightbulbs in your home with energy-efficient ones.
3. Purchase energy-efficient appliances when it's time to replace old ones.
4. Decrease your air travel. It's one of the biggest polluters.
5. Line-dry your clothes instead of using a tumble-dryer whenever possible.
6. Unplug electronic appliances when they are not in use, because they still take up lots of energy.
7. Insulate your home better. Insulate your water heater.
8. Buy recycled paper products and recycle as much of your waste as possible. This includes cans and bottles.
9. Take your own reusable canvas grocery bags when grocery shopping. Many supermarkets supply them now.
10. Plant a tree.
11. Shop locally for food. If it's not had to travel a long distance to get to the shelves then it's more environmentally friendly.
12. Eat less meat. The amount of food produced for cattle is staggering and actually counter-productive.
13. Invest in renewable energy such as solar energy. We have opened online stores in conjunction with Amazon UK and Amazon US to bring you the best deals on the internet. To go to our US store click here. To have a look at our UK store click here.
